UK Players Look Beyond GamStop

0

Online casinos and sports betting sites have become popular, and their popularity keeps growing. The websites attract players worldwide, with the UK being the leading market for online gaming and betting activities.

The growth has also led to more people indulging in different games and sports because they are readily available. Bonuses and promotions are also many, further attracting more people.

The Growth of the Online Gaming Sector

With the regular introduction of online gaming sites that deliver excellent gaming and betting services, the gaming sector has registered substantial development.

While this growth is outstanding, it has also increased gaming addiction. So, many gamers limit their gaming activities by either self-exclusion or setting money and time limits. Companies like GamStop will help you practice responsible gaming.

Usually, if you self-exclude, you can’t join other casinos. But here is the good news. The internet now has casinos not on GamStop, where you can play casino games and wager on sports. Read on to learn more about these gaming websites.

How to Find a Good Online Casino Not on GamStop

Today, finding the ideal website that satisfies your needs and interests is easy since the options run into hundreds. Still, it’s crucial to ensure you select the best real-money casino or sportsbook. You can consider various factors, including:

  • License and regulation where you select casinos licensed and regulated by renowned regulators like the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority.
  • Choose websites with several bonuses and promotions as well as clear bonus terms.
  • If you love loyalty rewards, settle for casinos with a well-developed loyalty scheme.
  • Moreover, the casino you choose should have top-notch customer service and professional agents.
  • Pay attention to the number of available games or sports betting markets.
  • Register at casinos with modern-day security and data privacy measures.
  • Select a casino/sportsbook with vast and secure payment options.
  • Lastly, mobile gaming has gained fame. So, choose a casino that guarantees smooth gaming on handheld devices.

You will never go wrong with the factors listed above. Ensure you follow them when looking for a site to play casino games or wager on sports. Plus, you can read reviews from other users to gauge a casino’s reputation and player satisfaction.

GamStop | Putting an End to Gambling Addiction

Gaming is fun. However, if you don’t observe responsible gambling, you can become addicted. You might end up spending too much time and money indulging in betting activities, which, is not something anyone wishes to happen.

So, companies such as GamStop step in to help you control your online gaming. Below is an overview of how that works.

First, you need to join GamStop. It will take a few minutes to set up an account and have your details confirmed. On the website, you will find helpful resources that help you determine if you are addicted to gaming.

Assuming you are having trouble controlling your gaming, the website has various measures to help.

  • The first strategy they encourage you to take is setting deposit limits. This allows you not to overspend. Also, you can have time limits to control the time you will spend gaming daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • The second option is self-exclusion. Here, you exclude yourself from online gaming for six months, one year, or five years.

Note, if you consider self-exclusion, you will not be allowed to play at any online company that works with GamStop until the period you have chosen elapses.

Now, this is where online casinos and betting sites that don’t work with GamStop come into the picture. They will allow you to enjoy online gaming, no matter your GamStop status.

What are Non-GamStop Online Casinos?

Non-GamStop Casinos are online gaming platforms not registered with GamStop, UK’s self-exclusion program. It is the organization that enables you to restrict your access to gambling sites under the program.

Most casinos licensed and regulated in the UK are members of this program. Non-GamStop Casinos are not subject to the restrictions and regulations of this organization.

That means you can access such websites even if you have self-excluded yourself. These casinos have several benefits, including:

Broader selection of games and sport betting markets

Non-GamStop Casinos have an extensive selection of games, such as slots, live games, and table games. Also, they cover tens of sporting activities, allowing you to place bets on almost every sport out there.

Attractive Bonus Offers

The websites offer generous bonuses and promotions to attract players and maintain existing customers. Besides, you will receive offers with friendly terms, like low wagering requirements.

Fewer Restrictions

The websites tend to have relaxed rules and regulations in relation to deposits and withdrawals. That gives you greater power in managing your money.

Available to Self-Excluded Players

Perhaps, this is among the biggest advantage. The casinos will accept you even if you are self-excluded in another site.

Excellent Customer Service

The casinos have gone above and beyond to deliver world-class customer service. You will receive 24/7 support whereby you can contact them via email and live chat. Some have gone an extra mile to provide toll-free phone support.

Secure and Reliable Payment Options

Many players prefer to play with their local currency since they will not have to worry about currency conversion rates. Non-GamStop sites accept numerous currencies and payment methods. That promotes smooth deposits and payouts, particularly since the accepted options are secure and fast.

Mobile-Friendly

Non-GamStop sites are compatible with hand-held devices, enabling you to play anytime and anywhere. Mobile-friendly websites make it easy for you to enjoy gaming since they provide an easy to navigate interface.

Key Takeaways

Players can enjoy sports betting or casinos gaming from anywhere worldwide since there are many legit casinos. This growth has also increased gambling addiction, pushing casinos to encourage their customers to observe responsible gaming behaviors.

A majority work with GamStop, a program that encourages players unable to control their gaming to self-exclude from gaming for six to five years. During this period, one cannot access online gaming services from a participating casino.

However, the industry has non-GamStop casinos that accept self-excluded gamers. You can check them out and choose the one that satisfies your interests.

The UK’s Leading Health and Wellness Brand Launch Vitamin Gummies in Collaboration with Sesame Street

The UK’s leading health & wellness brand, Sealions, are pleased to share their new range of multi-vitamin gummies for children, launched in collaboration with Sesame Street.

Launched in 2021 by SUPREME – (AIM:SUP), a leading manufacturer, supplier, and brand owner of fast-moving consumer products – SEALIONS is an online-only UK health and wellness brand offering affordable and accessible vitamin and wellness supplements for all ages.

Sesame Street is one of the world’s most iconic children TV programmes in history, which for over 50 years has aired around the globe, with its array of colourful characters that have become ingrained into modern culture – this collaboration with Sealions is exclusive to the UK.

The exciting product collaboration is in the form of vitamin gummies, which are sugar-free and vegan-friendly, and are suitable for children age 4+. They’re designed to support children’s growth and development, providing a tasty and fun way to take their vitamins, with benefits for immunity, energy, and bone and teeth health.

It’s so important to make sure kids eat a healthy, varied and balanced died – but it’s not always easy! These multivitamin gummies help to safeguard children’s daily diets if they’re not getting enough essential nutrients from food alone. Containing 8 essential nutrients, our gummies are sugar-free and vegan-friendly, with a delicious natural raspberry flavour your little ones will love.

Each daily serving contains vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D3 and E, plus Biotin and Folic Acid. Our expert formula has been designed to provide a helping hand in supporting several areas of children’s wellbeing during their growing years.

Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, normal energy-yielding metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. This water-soluble nutrient doesn’t stay in our bodies for long periods of time, so a regular intake is essential to ensure optimum daily levels. Vitamin C also helps with the absorption of the essential mineral iron.

Vitamin D is needed for the normal growth and development of bone in children and contributes to the normal function of the immune system in children. It can be hard to get enough vitamin D through diet alone as its main sources aren’t foods typically enjoyed by children – such as oily fish and eggs. Some food sources, such as cereals, are fortified with vitamin D, but the NHS recommends all children in the UK should be given a daily supplement due to them spending less time in direct sunlight.

B vitamins, including B6 & B12 contribute to your little one’s energy production, helping to give them the healthy energy levels and vitality that they need to enjoy play and seek adventure! Vitamin B12 supports normal energy-yielding metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

With the combination of the Nokē access system and a net-zero carbon building, Flexiss Group has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation and excellence in the storage industry.

Protecting Our Planet: A Comprehensive Look at Earth Day and Environmental Changes

0

Ever wondered what Earth Day is and how it unites countries from all over the world? Well, it is an annual celebration supporting environmental protection held on April 22. Approximately 193 countries globally participate in events that help create awareness of the significance of the environment and how vital it is to protect it for present and future generations. This article dives into factors that affect the environment. It also looks comprehensively at the changes that have taken place in the environment for a decade. Additionally, this article aims to educate individuals on the effects of climate change and how to prevent adverse impacts. It is vital to create ecological awareness as it gears countries towards a more sustainable world by using renewable sources.

Key Changes in the Environment over the Past 10 Years

Climatic changes have caused adverse effects on countries worldwide. Indisputably, most of these changes are attributed to humans. Our daily activities are responsible for the greenhouse effect that has caused global warming. Biodiversity has also been immensely affected by changes in climate. This is because humans are taking up more land for food production. Ultimately, most plants and animals lose their habitat and may be at risk of extinction.

Climate change has brought about more diseases and altered terrestrial and marine ecosystems. That said, urbanization has also impacted the environment. We all want to stay in towns. But we don’t realize just how much this yields harmful consequences. The higher population density in urban areas causes waste mismanagement, poor water and air quality, inadequate water, and high energy consumption. Urbanization goes hand in hand with technological advancements. Even though technology has made it easier for humans to execute tasks, it has also impacted the environment in the following ways;

  • There is an increase in air pollution and, thus, higher health hazards

  • The higher demand for machines has increased energy consumption, therefore global warming

  • Deforestation since most people want to settle in urban areas for easier access to technology

  • High radiation generation due to an increase in internet connectivity

And as a result, the role and value of an eco-friendly business, which has minimal or no impact on the environment, has increased.

Important Advances in the Environmental Over the Past 10 Years

Most countries hope to reduce and eliminate their carbon footprint by using renewable sources to generate electricity. Some of these renewable energy sources include;

  • Wind

  • Solar

  • Geothermal

  • Biogas and biomass

  • Wave and tidal power

Renewable energy sources are a step in the right direction for the following reasons.

  1. Energy from renewable sources does not produce greenhouse gas emissions, thus reducing air pollution.

  2. They help to diversify the energy supply. Instead of solely relying on imported fuels, you may opt for other environmentally-friendly alternatives.

  3. Renewable energy sources enhance economic development by creating installation and manufacturing jobs.

Renewable resources have significantly contributed to sustainable agriculture- a farming alternative centered around renewable and natural resources. Preserving our natural resources is the only way to mitigate risks that come with environmental damage and climate change. For that reason, sustainable agriculture has helped to:

  • Maximize profitability for farmers

  • Improve environmental stewardship

  • Increase productivity and welfare for farmers and their environment. Sustainable agriculture provides short-term yields without causing long-term effects.

Agriculture has developed over the years, which means more waste is emitted into the environment. However, recycling and waste management advances have sought to protect the environment while enhancing agricultural development and energy structure. Below is a list of some of these advances.

  • Small-scale recycling utilization has helped small-scale farmers to manage their wastes much better.

  • There has been the use of technology to improve industrial production and processes.

  • Individuals have a deeper understanding of solid waste management through reliable systems and life cycle management.

Urban Ecology and Its Importance

oZy0RzG3R1A4s5Sc EHLFWC2R6Zavq00G2Fs 4F0z2BnRw7ur6 MmEpAJulPd5tJAL3SDrYLgH629A7oflfKUgap3ws2gKeIWfYUX Zu5bNsgZlpvfeVyQz9bSM4OXHEknB1mEusXfgnQ4v45PnoJkQ

Urban ecology primarily refers to the analysis of ecosystems. It allows individuals to comprehend the coexistence of ecological processes in the human environment. Urban ecology has significantly contributed to a sustainable environment by studying humans and nature in cities and their coupled relationships. That said, urban ecology has several benefits, as stipulated below;

  • Urban ecology promotes the recycling of natural resources in cities

  • It subsequently improves food production and human health by reducing miles driven to bring food to the town and reducing air pollution.

  • It promotes the diversity of species, thus creating a healthier environment.

  • Urban ecology reduces food insecurity through proper resource decisions. It allows individuals to examine environmental decisions’ impact on humans, plants, and animals. Initially, the effect on plants and animals was always overlooked.

Providing solutions centered around protecting the environment is challenging but possible. Successful urban ecology projects have made it easier to address environmental challenges by providing nature-based solutions. Below is a list of some of these projects.

  1. Stormwater Wetland Park in China was constructed to create a multifunctional stormwater park from a wetland. It has helped preserve the natural environment through effective drainage systems.

  2. Lineal Gran Canal Park in Mexico- this project hoped to enhance environmental regeneration by restoring soil permeability and reforestation. It has increased relative air humidity by about 16%.

  3. Rain Garden in Brazil- this project has helped address impermeability issues of the urban landscape. The project used stones, plants, and other elements to treat urban runoff.

  4. Green Corridors in Colombia- this project sought to plant trees to reduce urban heat island effects. This project mainly concentrated on areas without green spaces. Green Corridors have helped lower temperatures by 2%.

  5. Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park in Singapore was constructed to prevent floods and improve water quality. It also helped improve individuals’ mental and physical well-being by connecting them to nature.

The Intersection of Technology and Ecology

Technology primarily refers to using scientific knowledge to improve input and output processes by changing the human environment. Conversely, ecology studies organisms and their interaction with the environment. There have been several technological advancements that have sought to protect the environment, as listed below.

  • Smart household appliances and IoT devices have helped conserve the environment. Such devices have an alarm for excessive energy waste. They also automatically switch off if not in use.

  • Technology has made it easier to eliminate waste by sharing data fast and efficiently. In addition, it has provided alternatives that reduce deforestation and wasteful packaging.

  • Technology has invented devices that help improve our cognitive and health abilities, like health and fitness apps and digital work management systems.

Currently, most countries are pushing for a sustainable environment by integrating technology. As a result, people have collaborated to develop technology and ecology projects that could potentially change the world. Below are some of these projects.

  1. Groasis Waterboxx- Groasis is a planting device that facilitates the growth of crops in deserts. It uses less water and may water plants effectively and germinate seeds.

  2. B-Droid- this project has created robotic bees for pollination to improve the natural bee population by allowing robotic bees to carry out pollination tasks effectively.

  3. The Green Building Initiative (GBI)- is an international initiative that has helped create sustainable buildings through certification programs that promote environmentally-friendly visions.

  4. The Smog Free Project- this project reduces air pollution by cleaning air through ionization.

Conclusion

The information may have been overwhelming and scary to some of you. However, it would be best to realize that using technology, urban ecology, renewable energy sources, and sustainable agriculture may not fix all current environmental issues. However, these ways significantly contribute to a better environment if executed correctly. As an individual hoping to see ecological changes, you can take small strides by choosing energy-efficient appliances and turning off electrical devices when not in use.

The Juice Academy Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary With New Apprenticeship Partners

To mark its tenth anniversary, Manchester-based digital marketing not-for-profit apprenticeship provider, The Juice Academy, has recently introduced new partner organisations into its portfolio, helping to get even more people into work by increasing the number of available apprenticeships.

The Juice Academy was created in 2013 by marketing consultancy, Tangerine Communications and has created more than 600 roles in some of the UK’s leading firms in that time. The unique proposition of The Academy is that all training is delivered by practising industry experts, alongside RoATP-approved partner, Apprentify, meaning apprentices have access to the best advisors and coaches and are always up to date with their skills.

The first two new partners were announced at an event last night celebrating the Academy’s ten-year anniversary – with the metro mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham as keynote. They are Smoking Gun, which will offer the Public Relations apprenticeship, and Jane Montague Consultancy which will provide the Charity Fundraiser apprenticeship.

Smoking Gun is trusted by major brands to help solve business challenges, be that perception or behaviour changes, or targeted awareness and understanding. The PR firm works with a mixture of market leading brands and challenger brands plus public sector organisations. It will deliver the PR & Comms Level 4 Standard, incorporating reputation management, current affairs in the PR industry, the media and marketing, PR campaigns, digital PR and communication strategies, producing and distributing content.

Rick Guttridge, MD of Smoking Gun said: “The Juice Academy has a long and successful track record of delivering apprenticeships and supporting employment in the UK and we have been proud to take a few excellent apprentices over the years from them, so we couldn’t be more excited to be part of their even prouder future!’

With decades of experience supporting the charity sector, Jane Montague Consultancy works with charities of all shapes and sizes across the UK and Channel Islands and has a unique insight into the trends and challenges they face. The company dissects and discusses sometimes humdrum topics in lively, engaging sessions, making sure the subjects stick, which is why it is perfectly suited to supporting apprentices. The consultancy will deliver the Charity Fundraiser Level 3 Standard, including raising financial funds and non-financial support, building and maintaining high quality donor relationships, the development and execution of fundraising plans and activities, producing high quality communication content and monitoring and evaluating.

Jane Montague added: “The charity sector is facing unprecedented challenges in the current climate. It is important that we continue to encourage new fundraisers into the Third Sector and provide invaluable skills that will future-proof fundraising in a digital world. I have watched the growth of The Juice Academy and I am certain this will be a superb way to help make a much-needed change in our sector.”

‘I could not be more proud of what we’ve achieved over the last ten years,’ said Founder and Chair of The Juice Academy, Sandy Lindsay MBE. ‘We have helped hundreds of people learn new skills and find employment with major brands. By adding more partners and providing access to new skills the future couldn’t be brighter for The Academy and the employers and apprentices we support.’

Any organisation or person wishing to discuss one of the new apprenticeships should visit: www.juiceacademy.co.uk/
