The Manchester office of national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP is celebrating after being ranked in the prestigious Chambers UK 2021 Directory.
The office was ranked in several practice areas including a Band 2 ranking for Intellectual Property, Band 3 for Social Housing and Band 4 for Litigation, the first time this team has appeared on the Guide.
The office also achieved Band 2 for Private Wealth Law in the Chambers’ prestigious High Net Wealth Guide which was released in July.
The firm’s national Social Housing team headed by Manchester-based Lindsay Felstead received Band 1 status and was named National Leaders Outside London.
Two partners were named individually as Band 1 and therefore leading in their field – Roy Crozier for Intellectual Property and Paul Davies for Private Wealth law with a further nine lawyers also ranked.
The results come shortly after the office received Top Tier rankings in the leading industry Guide Legal 500 earlier this month.
Roy Crozier said: “The Chambers and Partners Guides have been ranking the best law firms and lawyers since 1990, and we are so proud that we are in the top tier for several practice areas.
“The directory features genuine quotes from people we have represented, and it is incredibly gratifying to hear the positive feedback about our professionalism and expertise.
“These results combined with our equally impressive Legal 500 results demonstrate our standing and are a great indication of what our fantastic teams can achieve.”
Across all of its seven regional offices, Clarke Willmott has been ranked in 35 practice areas, an increase of two on last year.
A total of 74 individual lawyers are ranked, up eight on last year’s results, with 12 Band 1 rankings, five listed as Associate to Watch, two Star Associates and four noted as Up and Coming. Additionally,
CEO Stephen Rosser continues to be recognized as an Eminent Practitioner.
