A World Cup Pop-Up bar selling Craft Ales is opening at Kings Court, an attractive leisure and office complex built around a secluded courtyard off Railway Street, in the centre of Altrincham.
The Libero Pop-Up bar is opening on Friday 15th June at 1pm and will close Sunday 15th July.
Friends and football fans Paul Rooney and Ian Smythe not only play for Chorlton Athletic FC but are big fans of the style aspects surrounding football which together with their love of craft beers have been combined to create Libero.
Paul, said:” We have created a venue that will appeal to broad demographic and one which people will feel comfortable in while enjoying an excellent pint of bear watching the World Cup, tucked away from more raucous fans.”
The local business partners, Paul Rooney originally from Altrincham and Ian Smythe from Stretford met at college. Paul, a former PE teacher / football coach, works for Jack in the Box at Altrincham Market. Ian is a deputy head teacher in Poynton.
Daniel Lee, director, Regional Property Solutions, who let the niche space on behalf of the landlord Wizard Trading (Europe) Ltd, said: ”This space has recently become available and the Pop Up concept was an appealing local initiative for the duration of the World Cup and Kings Court provided the ideal location”
