Kalvin Phillips and Phil Foden will start for England in their Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy at Wembley tonight, according to Sky Sports.
Phillips will start in midfield, alongside Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice and at the expense of Jordan Henderson, as England seek the point they require to secure their place at next summer’s finals in Germany.
Former Liverpool captain Henderson was booed by England supporters during Friday’s 1-0 friendly win over Australia following his controversial decision to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq, given his pivotal role in backing various LGBTQ+ initiatives while playing in the Premier League.

Foden is set to start on the right side of a front three, according to Sky, with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford on the left and skipper Harry Kane up top.
The 23-year-old Foden scored the opener in the 3-1 win over Scotland last month and will again deputise for the injured Bukayo Saka.
Expected England team: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Maguire, Trippier; Phillips, Rice, Bellingham, Foden, Rashford, Kane.
