Bournemouth Tops List of Most Accessible Premier League Stadiums

Handicare, in partnership with Age Co, has conducted a comprehensive study evaluating the accessibility of all the Premier League stadiums for the 2023/24 season. The findings reveal:

  • Bournemouth boasts the most accessible Premier League stadium.
  • Following closely are the stadiums of Liverpool, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Chelsea, making up the top four most accessible stadiums.
  • Surprisingly, only Bournemouth offers more than 1% of wheelchair seats per its stadium’s capacity.
  • Despite having the second-smallest stadium, Bournemouth has the highest number of wheelchair seats compared to other clubs.
  • Shockingly, 13 out of 20 clubs provide less than 0.5% of wheelchair seats per stadium capacity.
  • Luton’s Kenilworth Road Stadium ranked at the bottom of the list in terms of accessibility.
