Wirral bioenergy specialist Fleetsolve appoints new team members to propel growth plans

Specialist bioenergy and carbon reduction business Fleetsolve has welcomed two well-known industry names to its business as part of its ongoing growth plans. The new team members will support the expansion of Fleetsolve’s portfolio of power generation, renewable energy and combined heat and power (CHP) solutions.

Nigel Thompson joins the team in the role of Business Development Manager. A former Royal Navy marine engineer, he brings with him a wealth of experience from a career in CHP and power generation that spans 30 years. In his new role, he will take responsibility for driving opportunities within the existing client base as well as building new relationships.

Having worked on, and sold, industrial generators and CHPs across both the public and private sectors – across a variety of applications, including healthcare, education, district energy, anaerobic digestion, manufacturing, peaking and baseload – Nigel says he is looking forward to a new future within an ambitious business. “I was attracted to Fleetsolve because of its dynamism, dedication to customer service excellence and clear growth strategy,” he says. “For me, this presents a very exciting opportunity, and one that I’m very much looking forward to.”

He will work alongside a team of technicians and project managers to deliver technical guidance – from commissioning through to operational site support – across multiple industries.

Peter says he was drawn to Fleetsolve because of the company’s clearly articulated ambitions, vision and growth pathway. “I saw an opportunity where I could play a role in achieving that vision, drawing on my past experiences. I am delighted to be working within an environment that gives me an opportunity to develop my own skills and move forward in my career. I am really looking forward to working with the Fleetsolve team to deliver on decarbonisation for UK business.”

Fleetsolve says recruiting the right talent is critical to its future success. The company is on a business pathway of ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years, aiming to increase its revenues to £150M.
