Hoopla goes from strength-to-strength as e-commerce drives demand

While 2020 has been a year to forget in so many ways, Hoopla is reflecting on a year of unprecedented demand for its services resulting in a 50% increase in year-on-year growth.

The pandemic has been a challenging time for a lot of brands but has also created an opportunity for them to evolve and extend their offering and ways of engaging with customers old and new.

E-Commerce has seen unprecedented growth with experts predicting that it will account for almost 30% of total retail sales in 2020 – a 10% increase from the previous year.

Hoopla, the Manchester-based Social Media and Influencer Marketing Agency, has been able to support brands with their e-commerce offering thanks to its hybrid approach to Influencer Marketing with some clients seeing up to 356% increase in sales as a direct result of their work.

Danny Cleaton, Social & Digital Director at Hoopla Marketing said: “The pandemic has been a terrible time in so many ways and a number of brands have been seriously impacted with shop closures and effects to the supply chain. This has meant brands have had to think of more innovative ways to connect with their customers.

“We’ve been able to implement innovative hybrid influencer marketing campaigns for some of these businesses, delivering brands a clear ROI and increase in sales which has enabled brands to grow their business at a fantastic rate.”

This increase in demand has resulted in Hoopla whose current client roster includes Frenchic Paint, Ercol and British Design Shop scooping seven new clients within the past couple of months alone.

New clients include Phs, Little Freddie, Sipful, Anxt, Cover Your Wall, Dr Gabriella Skincare, Lalage Beaumont and Coleman Douglas Pearls.
