Campus Living Villages UK appoints new CEO

Global student accommodation provider Campus Living Villages has announced the appointment of a new UK CEO.

Lee McLean will join the business in September from Vita Student, where he has been employed for over three years and is the current Managing Director.

Lee has worked within the student accommodation sector for almost a decade, holding senior roles at Unite Students and The Mansion Group, before his current position at Vita Student. He joins Campus Living Villages, which has arms within the UK, Australia, New Zealand and USA, at an exciting time for the business, with plans under way for a number of new developments across the UK.

Lee said of his appointment: “I am proud to be taking on the role of CEO at Campus Living Villages UK. I have always admired the high quality university experience it provides for students, built on a partnership approach, and having a focus on customer service and a strong workplace culture.

“There are a lot of exciting new projects in the pipeline which will expand Campus Living Villages UK’s presence in the market. I look forward to using my experience and expertise to help the team ensure even more students have the opportunity to experience not only fantastic accommodation, but the wide range of services, social activities and on-site facilities which are included in each of the student villages.”

Peter Berry, Group CEO at Campus Living Villages, added: “We are delighted to have Lee joining us as our new UK CEO. Lee’s strong operational management skills and background in asset and facilities management make him the perfect candidate to drive the growth of Campus Living Villages UK. He shares in our values and is passionate about building on our established reputation for providing quality accommodation to students in the UK.

“We look forward to working with Lee on the exciting developments we already have in the pipeline and on new opportunities to bring our excellent student accommodation offer to even more students up and down the country.”
